Overview

The Construction & Maintenance Department is in charge of constructing and maintaining refractories for furnaces, TLC, steelmaking and continuous casting
facilities. Korea Refractories have built a reliable maintenance system with its refractory lining personnel with expertise and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

  • - Construction of Hyundai Steel’s Integrated Steel Mill Unit 1 and Unit 2 (Mar. 2008 ~ Nov. 2010)
  • - Construction of Hyundai Steel’s Integrated Steel Mill Unit 3 (Mar. 2012 ~ Sep. 2013)
  • - Maintenance of refractories for the operation of Hyundai Steel’s Integrated Steel Mill (Jan. 2010 ~ Present)
